MORNINGHOST
A collection of surreal drawings made with markers on paper, populated by bizarre characters, imaginary creatures and impossible landscapes. These works inhabit an absurd and unpredictable universe where familiar forms are distorted, unexpected combinations emerge, and reality gives way to pure imagination.
Unbound by narrative, logic or conventional rules of representation, each drawing becomes an independent fragment of a world that seems to follow its own mysterious laws. Figures and environments coexist in strange, often humorous or unsettling relationships, somewhere between the grotesque, the playful and the inexplicable.
Rather than illustrating a specific idea or telling a defined story, the drawings embrace the freedom of nonsense. They explore the spontaneous possibilities of line, colour and form, allowing images to emerge without the need for rational explanations. The result is a visual universe where the absurd becomes natural, the impossible feels familiar, and imagination exists for its own sake.
