Between 2021 and 2024, I undertook a long-term photographic exploration of Bari, focusing on the city’s streets and the lives of the people who inhabit them. Over multiple visits and extended periods of observation, I sought to capture the human and social fabric of the city, highlighting moments of daily life that often go unnoticed.
Through this work, I aimed to reveal the gestures, interactions, and small narratives that define Bari’s communities, portraying the city beyond clichés or superficial images. The project emphasizes intimacy and presence, reflecting resilience, complexity, and the quiet intensity of urban life. Each photograph is intended not merely as a visual document, but as a testimony to the personal and collective stories unfolding in the city’s streets.
