In 2023, over several visits to Naples, I embarked on a photographic exploration of the city’s streets, seeking to capture the lives of the people who inhabit them. My approach was observational and intimate, focusing on everyday moments that reveal the social and human fabric of the city. Through these images, I aimed to highlight the gestures, interactions, and small narratives that often go unnoticed, portraying Naples beyond its stereotypical or touristic representations.
This project is an attempt to understand and convey the resilience, complexity, and vibrancy of its communities, documenting the subtleties of urban life with empathy and presence. Each photograph is not merely a visual record, but a reflection of human stories unfolding within the city’s streets.
